On behalf of the Government of Ontario, I am delighted to extend warm greetings to everyone taking part in the 2006 Ontario Economic Summit (OES).

Now in its third year, the OES plays a key role in bringing together leaders from business, labour, academia and government to identify the barriers to Ontario’s prosperity and to find innovative solutions to further strengthen our province’s economic advantage. I am confident that, through collaboration and leadership, OES participants will once again engage in thoughtful dialogue on optimal ways of ensuring Ontario’s continued growth and success.

I am also pleased to thank the dedicated management and staff of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce for organizing this vital forum. Your invaluable work gives all participants the opportunity to help foster a bright future for our province.
