Businesses Still Wary of Economic Climate
by Trevor McPherson on Wednesday, July 21st, 2010We’re clearly in a period of economic uncertainty. For its part, Canada is doing relatively well – comparative to our U.S. neighbours, many parts of Europe and other global economies. Notwithstanding government and central bank policies (the Bank of Canada raised its overnight rate by a 1/4 point yesterday), it’s business that will provide a clear indication of when things are back on track for good. That signal hasn’t been heard quite yet.
